Friendship Families

For the past 40 years, Oklahomans have reached out to thousands of international participants studying at the FAA Center in Oklahoma City. These short term visitors representing over 150 courntries benefit from friendship as well as training.


Conversations With Internationals

Volunteers assist with conversation classes on a regular basis at the ELS Language Center on the OKC University campus to help improve language skills and to promote understanding through culture and ideas.

Networking Opportunities

The IVC meets on the 1st Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Farmer International House at OCU. (On the corner of Blackwelder and N.W. 27th Street). Representatives from many international groups attend. You can also view our monthly newsletter to find out the latest news, information, and events pertaining to IVC-OKC.

Professional Exchange Programs

Through face-to-face dialogue, internationals and their contemporaries address critical issues, expand their knowledge, and develop enduring professional relationships. Over 100 State Department visitors are programmed each year by volunteers in Central Oklahoma.
